BIO
Kate Shapiro is a Miami-based writer. She received her Master of Fine Arts in fiction and holds a bachelor's from Tisch School of the Arts and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She won the International Literary Seminars & Fence Fiction Contest in 2018. Her fiction and poetry can be found in Fence, HAD, X-R-A-Y, Litro and Interim. "Kill the Rich" is her debut novel.
She is also an accomplished communicator, content writer, and digital marketer, working for such clients as the National Science Foundation, Morehouse College, the National Institutes of Health, and Centerfield Media.
